We received the new Odyssey - Music For Subway and
Vanderson - Synthetic Breath both releases are great and
I will play them in Dreamscape next week.
Same is to say about the new Robert Schroeder - New frequencies vol.2.
This is also a very good new CD, all Schroeder fan's will love this one!!
And finaly we received the new Wahnfried - Miditation version.
Very nice to hear this release again.

The Bungay Bash on Saturday 9th June 2012 will feature David Wright
and Friends, Michael Shipway and Modulator ESP.
Tickets are £10 and will be on sale from the AD Music website from 1st

Tangerine Dream - Machu Picchu (61662)

Tangerine Dream here is Edgar Froese alone and truely it's Edgar
Froese's solo album. Typical sound of TD from 1990-2000s - dynamic
rhythmic sequences with changing slow passages. No any New Age or El
Condor Pasa feelings and sounds. On the first listening it seems that
you are listening to half done album. You are starting to imagine -
well, here should be guitar solo, here should be be better
arrangement, but wait - on the second and third listening the album is
starting to work for you and you are starting to understand the
development of music, the positive message from Edgar. It's like Edgar
invites you into his studio and shows how Tangerine Dream music is prepared.
Good listening as active background music.

Volt - Circuits (gr-192)

Known for Mid Era synth music, Volt continues this style on "Ciruits".
The first song is deep space with sound effects that slowly evolves
into sequencer rhythms and layered melodies. "Ohms Law' follows the
same pattern, while "Firewire" is more upbeat than the other two
medium-paced tracks. Comparable to Redshift and Free System Projekt
but slightly lighter. A must for fans of Michael and Steve's work.

Free System Projekt & Emmens, Gert - Legacy (10509)

Both excellent producers of Mid Era synth music on their own, this
combination produces an expected outstanding release. "Legacy" is
taken from live performances and includes the trademark sequencer
rhythms of both FSP and Gert.

The first track has their predictably enjoyable style. "Heritage" is
several pieces combined for almost 50 minutes of superb listening.
Deep space parts develop into fast sections of upbeat music, then
return to experimental ambiance. Fans of their previous works will
notice a title track that's classic mid-1970s Schulze along with a
different twist: both that song and "Prophecy" include Gert on drums.

I look forward to broadcasting much of "Legacy" on my radio program,
and to the positive comments that will come from listeners who
appreciate timeless synth music.

Nattefrost & Matzumi - From Distant times (gr-190)

"From Distant Times" is the first full-length album by Nattefrost (aka
Danish synthesist Bjørn Jeppesen) and Matzumi (aka German composer
Kathrin Manz), realized between September 2010 and February 2012.
Starting out in a symphonic manner on the first track, the music
already shifts to an accessible type of melodic, sequencer-driven
music from the second track on. One can clearly hear the stark
fingerprint of Nattefrost shining through the 9-track/61-minute
outcome, mixing pssst-pssst-percussion, choir textures, symphonic
soundscapes, occasional female singing and powerful synth pads. The
music is of a tasty and driving nature, sometimes to almost dancing
effect, while it also reveals some mellow sides now and then. "Rise of
the Phoenix" and "Time Passing", both found in the middle of the
album, are without doubt the highlights of the release: they
sophisticatedly merge the driving elements to tantalizing effect. On
the other hand, the smoot h soaring solo on "The New Dawn" though
sounds like Robert Schroeder is joining the duo briefly.

All in all, "From Distant Times" is a fine draft of contemporary
electronic music that will kick some ass in the general melodic genre,
and most certainly turn out to be another winning release from the
established Groove Unlimited label.
